Vanadium extraction reagents
Vanadium extractants for acidic leach solutions, vanadium-bearing slag leach liquors and spent catalyst recovery streams.
Vanadium oxidation state and acidity determine which reagent and strip route apply, so both are needed for a recommendation.

Process context
Where the reagent sits in the circuit
01
Oxidation control
Vanadium is adjusted to the oxidation state the reagent loads most effectively.
02
Extraction
P204 transfers vanadium to the organic phase while iron and aluminium remain in the raffinate.
03
Strip and precipitation
Stripping with an alkaline or acidic medium prepares the liquor for vanadium precipitation.

Questions
Before you specify
What information do you need to recommend a reagent?
The feed assay (metal tenor and main impurities), acidity, the stage where the reagent will work, and the target strip liquor or product specification. A flowsheet sketch helps but is not required for a first recommendation.
Can one model cover several metals?
Some phosphoric ester and phosphinic acid reagents work across nickel, cobalt, vanadium and rare earth circuits, but the loading window is set per application. A model that suits one separation may need a different acidity or modifier in another.
How are samples shipped?
Sample quantity and packing are agreed against the trial scope, then shipped with handling information. Documentation follows the destination country and the carrier requirements.
Send your feed data
Include the vanadium tenor, acidity and the main competing ions. A model recommendation follows from those values.
