DY377 extractant

Diglycidyl bisamide acidic metal extractant

CAS on request

DY377 is a diglycidyl bisamide acidic reagent used for efficient nickel and diamond separation in acidic circuits. In sulphate and chloride systems it also separates cobalt from nickel as an alternative to phosphinic acid reagents, and it takes cadmium, manganese and molybdenum out of transition metal liquors.

  • Diglycidyl bisamide
  • Nickel and diamond separation
  • Acidic sulphate and chloride
  • 50% m/m grade

Typical use

Nickel and diamond separation duties, cobalt-nickel separation in laterite and black mass circuits, and enrichment of gold, platinum and silver from anode slimes or e-waste leach streams.

  • 01The feed assay and the target separation determine the acidity window for the stage.
  • 02Cadmium, manganese, molybdenum and antimony are handled in the same acidic circuit as nickel and cobalt.
  • 03Trial quantities are agreed before the reagent is committed to a full circuit.
