DY319 extractant

Phosphorus-free nickel-cobalt co-extraction extractant

CAS on request

DY319 co-extracts nickel, cobalt and manganese from waste battery leaching solution and is free of phosphorus. Calcium and magnesium are left behind, and where a pure nickel stream is needed the co-extract is followed by DY272 to take cobalt out of the strip.

  • Phosphorus-free
  • Ni-Co-Mn co-extraction
  • Ca/Mg separation
  • Pairs with DY272

Typical use

Nickel-cobalt co-extraction from waste battery leach solution, followed by DY272 where a pure nickel raffinate is the product.

  • 01Calcium and magnesium stay in the raffinate, which reduces scrubbing load in the following stage.
  • 02The strip from DY319 is fed to DY272 when cobalt has to be removed to leave nickel only.
  • 03Feed ratio stability matters more than total tenor; upstream blending is confirmed before the stage is sized.

Packing and storage

  • 01200 kg plastic drum
  • 021000 L IBC tank

Pack sizes are confirmed with the quotation. Mixed pallets and customer-specified packing are quoted on request.

Sealed chemical drums stored in a warehouse aisle
Warehouse storage · sealed containers
  • Store in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse.
  • Keep away from direct sunlight, open flame and strong oxidisers.
  • Keep containers sealed and do not store with alkaline products.
